House of Window Coverings is located in Las Vegas, NV and provides custom built window treatments to their customers.
CHALLENGE: House of Window Coverings had an existing WordPress website was built with a pre-bought “All-In-One” theme which loaded in browsers very slowly, was hard to manage from the back end and did not match the company brand and image that was being used in their other print marketing efforts. They were also utilizing Google Ads to drive traffic to existing website and they were having trouble customizing the theme to improve conversion rates.
SOLUTION: We chose to completely redesign and develop a Custom WordPress theme for the website. Our first step was to create a set of brand standards for the website design to follow so that when a visitor went from a print ad to the website the branding, colors and tone would be consistent. We then focused on the types of visitors we could expect to view the website and made sure our new design delivered the content that would make House of Window Coverings look like the leader in the industry.
RESULTS: The new website loads 5x faster than the old website which has improved Google Rankings and tremendously improved the user experience on mobile devices. These small, but important improvements increased conversion rates by 18% in the first month!
